THE BACKGROUND
Step Up Savannah is a company that was established in 2005 that promotes economic opportunity and financial security in
Chatham County, GA. While more than a quarter of Savannah’s residents live in poverty, that percentage jumps to 50% and higher in some neighborhoods. Such high rates have persisted for more than 30 years.
THE CHALLENGE
A lot of poverty-stricken individuals and families are apprehensive to go to big corporations for help. Rebrand Step Up to help overcome these obstacles.
THE SOLUTION
We rebranded the company to visually have a friendlier and more approachable feel while conceptually conveying a message of understanding and recognition of our audience
The more steps those in need take to escape poverty, the less help they receive from the government.

Their original logo represented two people coming together to create an upward arrow. I transformed the logo to be easier understood and more friendly.
